    AI Efficiency Presentation

Solar was resistant to AI change and a colleague was pushing hard to get them to adopt it in a more open way but the communication was hitting a wall. I volunteered to produce some material and format it in a way that would make it clear to senior management how AI could benefit us and how it wouldn’t need to cost jobs but would improve output. The plan was not to create a final researched document on where the savings could come from but to try and mock up the final result in order show the process and convince them to allocate resources to research and mapping off job roles and efficiency potential. As a result I formulated a structured plan of how we would go about a pilot scheme and then role out if it was successful

    ETA Solar

Customers can currently not track their items from within the site. We need a solution to allow the user to track their goods directly from the order overview page. We have access to N-shift  and want to display that infomation on the site rather than have the user navigate away from Solar to find out where their proeducts are.

    Onboarding

We are currently lacking in our onboard of customers, we have a pop up system that cannot be closed and no way of knowing what the customer might be interested in. The onboard expereince at Solar was completely absent. The company was missing oportunities to capitalise on new customers and gain information about them for marketing and instructional purposes. I was to set about interviewing internally and externally to find out what was good and bad about Solar onboarding and how we could improve it bothe for customers and us.

    Colour review

We had a vast amount of colours in the design system which needed drastically reducing and aligning with different regions and departments. We needed to get the diorganised organsied in order to reduce confussion and workload for all effected employees

    Spotted

Spotted was a project I tackled while getting official qualifications for UX/UI at Career Foundry. The brief was to come up with app ourselves, something that these days would be a lot easier with AI but I went back to my youth and digitized the books I used to love on car journeys where you had to record rare cars you had seen.

    Crust

Design a money saving app for users who want to save money, quickly, for a particular reason. Broken into 2 parts, firstly: Design the branding Secondly: Design the app. The users are not new to technology but do not like working with their finances. So, they require that the information they receive via the tool is accessible, and clearly tells them what they can do to better save

    Food app

I believe that people don’t use recipe apps on a daily basis but more for special occasions when they want to impress guests or cater for guests that have specific dietary requirements. I believe most people don’t have much time to cook so resort to quick and easy foods over well thought out interesting meals. I think that current sites offer an over whelming amount of choice and like a restaurant it is hard to choose. I believe there will be occasions outside of this where chefs want to be inspired beyond their daily cooking routines and that they will have certain criteria they are bound by on this hunt. For example, what is in the fridge or what they are allowed to eat because of dietary requirements.

    Conundrum council

Conundrum Council was a personal project to try to start a YouTube channel about fatherhood. I’d recently become a dad and wasn’t part of any dads’ group, and it struck me as strange that dad-related issues weren’t discussed as widely as mothering ones. I wanted to raise awareness.

    AC Brochure

The Adam Christopher range was targetted towards high end clients that expected a certain aesthetic. In situe photo shoots were out of the question given the cost and logistical limitations of moving 80kg planters around on my own and renting million pound villas to display them in. Instead I played on the artistisan USP of the pots and set them in a ceramic style studio which worked well and appealed to my customer base
